Before starting the Membership Process, please go to the website and check under 'Become a Member' or 'Qualifications for Membership'. If you meet the qualifications, then ‘Becoming a User’ is the first step in becoming a ChemPharma Professional Association member.
If you are just signing up for an event become a USER:
Users will have limited access to the website, including signing up for events, but at the non-member rate. To have full access to the forums, to access and post job leads, to participate in mailing lists, to access member lists, and more, one must become a full ChemPharma member. Acceptance as a new USER is instantaneous - you assign your own userid and password as you sign up. Please note that fields with an asterisk (*) are required fields. To sign up as a USER, click on this link , fill in the required fields, and click on ‘Register’.
After establishing a USER account, the next step in the Membership process is obtaining sponsorship by an active ChemPharma member. There are several ways to achieve this:
Once you’ve become a USER and log in to the website, the home page screen will have a red “Become a Member” red bar in the upper right portion of the screen and “Become a Member” and "Membership Application" menu selections as well. Click the red bar or one of the menu selections and follow the instructions to start the membership application process.
What Happens After I Apply?
- When ALL information is entered into the system AND your sponsor approves your application it is reviewed by the ChemPharma Membership Committee.
- Please contact your sponsor via e-mail to ensure they have acted on your request for sponsorship. The ChemPharma administrator will contact the sponsor if they have not approved your request within two business days. Please APPLY ONLY ONCE.
- Your application will be reviewed within two business days of completion. If approved, you will be sent a payment link for dues and fees and additional instructions if you wish to pay via check. If the application is rejected, an email will be sent to you as well.
- Within several business days of receipt of dues and fees, the administrator will send a Welcome Package and a link to join our ChemPharma Linked In group.
- If there is no activity on your application after two business days, send a question via ‘Contact Us’ to ‘Membership Questions’ with your question. DO NOT APPLY AGAIN. Multiple applications will slow down the process.
